ADVANCE, Mo. -- Mearle Sullinger, 85, of Advance died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Advance, daughter of Arthur and Lula Baker Ward. She and Willis Sullinger were married Oct. 6, 1939, at Jackson. He died March 11, 2001.
Sullinger was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Owens and Carolyn Crites of Advance; a sister, Norma Dale of Jonesboro, Ark.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ray Placher and Earl Elfrink officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
