Mayme Russell

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Mayme Lavenia Russell, 97, of Sedgewickville died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington, Mo.

She was born April 24, 1911, at Sullivan, Mo., daughter of Irvin Bertie and Etta Izora Thurmond Anderson. She and Robert Velbert Russell were married May 30, 1930. He died Jan. 17, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn and Dale Russell of Marble Hill, Mo.; a daughter, Rose Reed of Patton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating.

Burial will be in Patton Cemetery near Patton.
