MAYME LEE HESS WINN

ANNA, Ill. -- Mayme Lee Hess Winn, 98, of Anna, Ill., died Saturday, April 30, 1994, at the Union County Nursing Home in Anna.

She was born Feb. 7, 1896, at Anna, daughter of Dennis and Nettie Gunter Hess.

SHe married Herbert N. Winn, Oct. 19, 1922, at Anna. He died Sept. 16, 1970.

Winn was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Herbert H. Winn of Anna, Paul Winn of Effingham, Ill.; a daughter, Phyllis Toler of Streator, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anna Cemetery.
