Maxine Wilkinson

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Maxine P. Wilkinson, 79, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 8, 1934, in Oran, Mo., daughter of Eugene Carl and Pearl Seabaugh Fisher. She and Edward Eugene Wilkinson were married April 18, 1954. He passed away Oct. 8, 1996.

Maxine attended Shepard Chapel Church.

Survivors include three sons, David, Larry and Mitchell Wilkinson of Marble Hill; three daughters, Kaye Brown and Sharon Liley of Marble Hill and Tina Kelley of Delta; 25 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; a brother, Carl Gene Fisher; and three grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at New Salem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Maxine's funeral expenses.
