SIKESTON -- Maxine Crenshaw, 71, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Sikeston, the daughter of the late F. SIKESTON -- Maxine Crenshaw, 71, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Sikeston, the daughter of the late F. F. and Fleta Edmondson Collins.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. On Sept. 26, 1936, she married Bridwell L. Crenshaw in Sikeston. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Jim Cresnshaw of Jefferson City and Joe Crenshaw of St. Charles; a daughter, Carolyn Fitch of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Gene and Bud Collins, both of Sikeston; two sisters, Ruth Ann Ziegenhorn and Gayle Collins, both of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a son.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, and burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
