BLOOMFIELD -- Maxine Berry, 61, of Bloomfield, died Monday, March 1, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 20, 1931, in Hornbeck, Tenn., daughter of Eddie L. and Eva Perminta James. She and Clifford "Jeff" Berry were married May 4, 1948.
Berry was a member of Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Terry Berry of Sikeston, Jeffrey Berry of Dexter; a daughter, Dianna Orr of Quincy, Ill.; three brothers, Jack James of LaCrescenta, Calif., Cotus James of Bloomfield, Bobby James of Flint, Mich.; a sister, Christine Bridger of Sikeston; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Walker Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
