CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Maxine Bailey of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cairo, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Barkett Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Earl Elgood will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Mrs. Bailey, 81 years old, died Monday, Jan. 21, 1991, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She married Samuel T. Bailey, who died in 1960.
The Baileys formerly owned Big Four Restaurant here. She was past president of the reception committee at JWB Sanders Retirement Center in Paducah.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Bailey of Melbourne, Ky.; a brother, Quentin Bolen of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Mary Kottsick of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Bonnie Bailey of Melbourne, Thurman Bailey of Smyrna, Tenn., and three great-grandchildren.
