Maurine B. Phillips, 91, of Scott City died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 29, 1927, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Clarence and Gladys Craddock Morris. She and John Phillips married May 6, 1957.

She worked for Procter & Gamble and was a member of Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

She is survived by her husband, John Phillips; three sons, Gene Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John (Janis) Phillips of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Rob (Emily) Phillips of Port Aransas, Texas; three daughters, Corky (Leonard) Lett of Sikeston, Missouri, Karen (Wayne) Riggs of Fredericktown and Sandy (Perry) Dailey of Metropolis, Illinois; two brothers, Bud Morris of San Antonio and Bill Morris of Blytheville; 14 grandchildren, Misti (Chris) Stanfill, Lori (Jason) Grubbs, Kim Brown, Michael Taylor, Corey Taylor, Travis (Amy) Taylor, Joe (Lacy) Dailey, Leanna (Doug) Hopkins, Joanna Dailey, Billy (Karen) Riggs, Annabeth Phillips, Lia Phillips, Rachael Phillips and Ozzie Phillips; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Taylor, and a sister, Grace Louise.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Revs. Randy Morse and Jason Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home.
