CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Maude A. Hanners of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jake Welker will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Hanners, 71 years old, died Friday, March 1, 1991, at her home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1919, near Oak Ridge, daughter of Edward and Eula Mae Lape Moore. She married John D. Hanners in 1940.
Mrs. Hanners moved to the Chaffee area six years ago from Millersville. She was of the Pentecost faith.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Deon Hanners of Jackson, Leon Hanners of Commerce, Johnny Hanners of Villa Ridge; three daughters, Sue Miller of Millersville, Linda LeGrand of Oran, Wendy Farrow of Jackson; five brothers, Leroy, Ervin, Marshall and Wilson Moore of Oak Ridge, Earlis Moore of Topeka, Kan.; two sisters, Bessie Rubel of Cape Girardeau, Flosie Crites of Chaffee; 16 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
