Maudaline Randolph Cook, 97, of Cape Girardeau died Monday morning, Sept. 30, 2019, at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri.
She was born Sept. 5, 1922, in Providence, Kentucky, to Luther James and Katie McNeeley Randolph. She and Paul W. Cook were married May 8, 1942, in Benton, Missouri. He preceded her in death in June 2004. Maudaline had two daughters, Paulette and Carolyn.
Maudaline blessed many places and people with her kind heart and warm smile.
She worked at International Shoe factory from 1939 to 1959. She was a self-employed beautician from 1959 to 1999.
She was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn (John) Watkins of Sedgewickville, Missouri; grandchildren, Rochelle Dickens, Renee (Steve) Grim, Cindy (Lee) Turpin, Valerie Martin and Rebecca (Jason) House; and great-grandchildren, Dallas Dickens, Dylan Grim, Carleigh Grim, Ridge Martin, Tyler Martin, Joshua House and Jaymeson House.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Paulette, in 2017; three brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow from 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Rudolph officiating. A eulogy will be given by Maudaline's niece, Barbara (Carl) Blanchard. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Flowers may be sent, or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Watkins Wildlife Rehab, watkinswildliferehab.org.
