MATTIE BRIDGES

SIKESTON -- Mattie W. Bridges, 84, of Sikeston died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 10, 1914, at Cuba Landing, Tenn., daughter of R.E. and Elizabeth Rains Horner. She married Steven Walter Bridges, who died in 1991.

Bridges had worked at the former lamp factory, and attended First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include a brother, John Horner of Bertrand.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
