Matthew Zimmermann

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Matthew Konrad Zimmermann, 29, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, in Little Rock.

He was born Aug. 22, 1989, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Kraig and Tracy Heyungs Zimmermann.

Matthew graduated with honors from the University of Central Arkansas.

He was a kitchen manager at Brewski's Pub. Matthew enjoyed painting and cooking.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sandra Heyungs and Kenneth Zimmermann.

He is survived by his parents, Kraig and Tracy Zimmermann of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; a son, Reuben Zimmermann of Kimberling City, Missouri; two brothers, Andrew Zimmermann of Cape Girardeau and Kane Hart of Oceanside, California; a sister, Nessa Zimmermann of Prairie Grove; and grandparents, James and Charlotte Heyungs of Eureka, Illinois, and Judith Zimmermann of Towanda, Illinois.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
