Matthew Henry Jones, 40, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his home.
He was born March 8, 1981, in Cape Girardeau, son of Albert and LaVonne Finke Jones.
Matthew was a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. He majored in art at Southeast Missouri State University and graduated in 2010.

Matthew was a free spirit. He loved to travel to different places. He loved to travel to see the ocean, no matter which ocean it was. He enjoyed watching and playing soccer. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Albert and LaVonne Jones of Jackson; brothers, Nathan and Michael Jones; aunt and uncle, Cindy and David Morrison; niece, Callie Jones; and nephew, Nicholas Jones.
Arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Services in Cape Girardeau.
