ANNA, Ill. -- Matthew Richard Fouche, 24, of Anna died Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Joppa, Ill., as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born Sept. 22, 1980, in Peoria, Ill., son of John Fouche and Sue Ellen Sargent.
He was employed with the Waterfront Services Barge Company in Cairo, Ill.
He and Michelle Lynn Baxter were married Jan. 18, 2003, in Anna.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mya Nevaeh Fouche; his mother of Jonesboro, Ill., his father of Peoria; maternal grandfather, James R. Sargent of Speer, Ill.; a sister, Nicole Fouche of Anna; three brothers, Luke Sargent of Jonesboro, James Sargent of Memphis, Tenn., and Tim Fouche of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
