WYATT -- Funeral service for Mason Clay Taylor of Wyatt will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Harold Norton will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Taylor, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born July 6, 1920, in Murray, Ky., son of Henry Clay and Emma Woods Taylor. He and Glenna Brown were married April 27, 1944.
Taylor was a member of Carpenter's Local 640, and VFW Post 4294 at Charleston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jeanne Adkisson of East Prairie; a sister, Altie Duncan of Brooksville, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
