MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mary "Juanita" Yount, 76, of Marble Hill died Monday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
She was born June 10, 1932, at Charleston, Mo., daughter of John London and Jenette Elizabeth Stockman Cannon. She and George Yount were married March 22, 1952.
Mrs. Yount was a machine operator for the Paramount Manufacturer and a member of the Community Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Jenette (Tim) Segerson of Henderson, Tenn., Pat (James) Trentham and Sandy (Tony) Hughes of Marble Hill, Lynn (Danny) Schweer of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, James Harold Cannon of Edwardsville, Ill., Bobby Landon Cannon of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Nellie Mae Stephens of Wappapello, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Eunice Stella Cannon.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Diana Cook and the Rev. Kevin Stroup officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
