Mary Ellen Wilson, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born March 22, 1928, in Anna, Illinois, to Arlie E. and Gladys Dollman Knupp. She and Johnny Wilson were married Sept. 27, 1945, at Jackson.

She loved flower gardening and loved to go dancing.

She was a member of Wolf Lake (Illinois) Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Greg) Mosby of McClure, Illinois; a son, John W. (Phyllis) Wilson of Wolf Lake, Illinois; two brothers, Paul Knupp of Florissant, Missouri, and Gerald (Ann) Knupp of Phoenix City, Alabama; three grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Gallante of Cassellberry, Florida, Justin (Lyndsey) Mosby of Benton, Missouri, and Tara (Greg) Kennard of Cape Girardeau; and four great-grandchildren, Blake Mosby, Easton Mosby, Connor Kennard and Bennett Kennard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Margaret Stark; and two brothers, Robert and John Knupp.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Barbara and Glenn Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Saxony Village.
