Mary Sue Wilson, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, Ill.
She was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Montgomery County, Miss., to the late Rev. Joe Henry and LaMetta Campbell. She was united in marriage to Harry Wilson, who preceded her in death Dec. 17, 2009.
Wilson was a member of St. James AME Church.
Survivors include a son, Tony McCline of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Alice McCline of Cape Girardeau; three stepsons, Harry Wilson Jr. of Florissant, Mo., Harold and Larry Wilson of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Kathy Williams of Perry, Ga.; five sisters, Dorothy Henderson of Memphis, Tenn., Naomi Moody and Geneva Smiley of Chicago, Janice Harrison of Calumet Park, Ill., Esther Wade of Fort Smith, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Friday at St. James AME Church with the pastor, the Rev. Debbie Thornton, officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
