Mary Nellrea Warren, 62, of Scott City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at her home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Aurthur Carl and Almeda Marie Martin Pierce. She and Jerry Warren were married in 1994 in Reno, Nevada. He passed away in 2004.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was dedicated to her family and loved to sing and dance. One of her favorite pastimes was collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia.
Loving survivors include two sons, Walter Donald "Donnie" Werth III and Matthew Eugene Lysne; two daughters, Charita Marie Werth and Lahni Renee Lysne; two brothers, Joe Franklin Pierce and Richard Dale Pierce; three sisters, Doris Earlene Brant, Erma Aldene Laundre and Patricia Marie Pierce; four grandchildren, Jessie Erin Lysne, Dylan Wayne Baker, Gavin Micheal Lysne and Vegas Reign Baker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; a brother, Garrett Gale Whittaker; and a sister, Betty Anna Faye Olayis.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Emerald Street Church of God in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Robert Hendrix Jr. officiating.
