MARY V. ROGERS

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary Virginia Rogers, 79, Jonesboro Route 2, died Thursday, May 7, 1992, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Oct. 17, 1912, at Reynoldsville, daughter of John and Agnes Modglin Reynolds. She and Sherman Rogers were married in 1932. He died in 1966.

Rogers was a member of First Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Wilda Boner and Mary Randolph of Jonesboro; a son, Allen Rogers of Anna; her stepmother, Viola Reynolds of Reynoldsville; a sister, Elnora Walker of Jonesboro; a brother, Johnny Reynolds of Jonesboro; two half brothers, Walter Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Jack Reynolds of Reynoldsville; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Ford will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.
