ENID, Okla. -- Mary Lee Sutherland, 60, of Enid died Friday, June 6, 2003, at St. Mary's Regional Health Center.
She was born May 28, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Paul and Ione Bollinger Welter. She married James H. Sutherland on Aug. 10, 1963, in Cape Girardeau.
She graduated from Kelly High School in Benton, Mo., and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She moved to Enid in 1981 and worked as a teachers' assistant in the Enid public school system for 22 years. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lisa Dowd of Little Rock, Ark., and Amy Ebel of Enid; a brother, Mike Welter of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Pat Ray of Enid; and her mother of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home in Enid.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with the Rev. Larry Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
