MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mary Marie Seabaugh, 72, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.
She was born Sept. 2, 1937, in Jackson, daughter of Troy Steven and Lena Margaret Simmons Atchison. She married Charles Everett Seabaugh, whom she loved and adored, Feb. 22, 1958.
Mrs. Seabaugh worked in the restaurant business most of her life, and was of the Pentecostal belief. She was a very loving person who enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping and socializing.
Survivors include her husband, Everett; a son, Craig E. Seabaugh of Marble Hill; a daughter, Evelyn Marie Scott of Godfrey, Ill.; three brothers, Dallas Gene Atchison, Eldon Lee Atchison and Elijah Atchison, all of Marble Hill; two sisters, Naomi Ruth Ayers of Ashland, Ky., Doris Kay Harris of Piedmont, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bradley Jay and James William; and two sisters, Hazel May Rush and Lovella Fern Brinkman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery.
