DEXTER -- Mary Ella Robinson, 95, of Dexter, died Thursday, July 11, 1996, at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1900, in Stoddard County, daughter of Isaac and Mattie Lee Hudson Pruitt. She was reared by her mother and stepfather, Mattie and William Henry "Pappy" Swift.
She and William "Will" Castner were married June 17, 1916. He preceded her in death. She and Charles Otis "Red" Robinson were married Nov. 21, 1932. He died Sept. 7, 1969.
Robinson had worked at Ward's Grocery Store, and retired after 30 years at Elder Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Alice Williamson of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother, four half brothers and a half sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Marion Gipson and Chester Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
