SCOTT CITY -- Mary D. Rhyne, 77, of Scott City, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 11, 1918, at Egypt Mills, daughter of William and Ada Noland Harmon. She and Floyd Rhyne were married Nov. 23, 1940, at Egypt Mills. He died Dec. 7, 1977...

SCOTT CITY -- Mary D. Rhyne, 77, of Scott City, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 11, 1918, at Egypt Mills, daughter of William and Ada Noland Harmon. She and Floyd Rhyne were married Nov. 23, 1940, at Egypt Mills. He died Dec. 7, 1977.

Rhyne was a member of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Scholz of Scott City; a brother, Amos Harmon of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
