JACKSON, Mo. -- Mary Francis Reddick, 49, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel, followed by interment in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson. Kelly and Kenny Francis will officiate.
Mary was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John William and Ruby Mae Francis Reitman. She and Joe Reddick were married June 27, 1970. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Ruby Mae Reitman of Jackson; four nieces, Robbie Sue, Kasey, Alaina and Reva; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jess and Pat Reddick of Jackson; mother-in-law, Pat Epperson of Desloge, Mo.; three brothers-in-law, Mike Reddick of Springfield, Mo., John Epperson of Desloge, Richard Reddick of Cape Girardeau; and many other beloved family members and friends which she so dearly loved.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, John William Reitman, and paternal grandparents, Henry and Anna Reitman.
Mary was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ in Scopus, Mo. She had formerly worked with the American Cancer Society, most specifically with the efforts concerning breast cancer. Mary retired from Procter & Gamble in 1997 after 24 years of employment as a lab technician.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Opaline Lincoln, Eunice Francis, Donna Roberts, Trish Wischmann, Rhonda Starzinger, Doris Jost, Jan Freese, Carolyn Gollihue, and Glenda Francis for their loving friendship and devotion during Mary's painful struggle with cancer. Your faithfulness to Mary and the joy she received from your friendship was a blessing to our family.
