Mary Lee Quinn, 77, of Jackson died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at her home.
She was born June 2, 1934, in Brownwood, Mo., to Lloyd and Clara Kynion Kidd. She and the Rev. Lee Roy Quinn were married Dec. 16, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died Aug. 19, 2005.
Mrs. Quinn was a graduate of Advance High School. She assisted her husband as a secretary at various churches he served in. Mary was a former secretary at Hannibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, Mo., and at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She also worked on the clerical staff at the Baptist Home in Ironton, Mo. She was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan D. Humes of St Louis and Amy Clover of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Peggy Jones of Chaffee, Mo., Patricia Galloway of Jackson and Linda McCullough of Plano, Texas; two brothers, Paul and Forrest Kidd of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, Steven W. Quinn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Lynwood Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
