MARY POSTON

Mary Louise "Beze" Poston, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 15, 1911, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of Rice and Mary L. Marr Clinard. She and Joe Lee Poston were married in 1930 at Jackson, Mo. He died Aug. 18, 1987.

Poston had been a cook at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1974. She was a member of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Clinard of Buna, Texas, and a sister, Virginia McKey of Jackson, Miss.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. John Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
