SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Mary Elizabeth Kinnison Peerson, 86, of Savannah, formerly of Southeast Missouri, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Savannah Square Health Care Facility.
She was born June 26, 1915, at Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Earl M. and Ava Mae Harris Kinnison.
A retired music educator, Peerson was born in Sikeston and had lived in Denver, Colo., and taught music in Washington, D.C.
She was a member of the White Bluff United Methodist Church in Savannah, the Newcomers Club, National Music Educators Association and the Savannah Symphony Guild.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda L. Peerson of Savannah.
Friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home in Savannah, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Jackson, Mo.
