JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Mary Bernice Palmer of Franklin, Ind., was held Saturday at Franklin Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Ted R. Lee and Larry Stover officiated. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River, Ind.
Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin was in charge of arrangements.

Palmer, 73, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers in Beech Grove, Ind.
She was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Jackson, daughter of Walter and Alma Kinder Schroeder. She and the Rev. James E. Palmer were married Aug. 21, 1945, in Jackson.
Palmer attended high school in Jackson. She was a member of Franklin Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, the Rev. Jim Palmer of Houston, Texas, the Rev. Michael Palmer of St. Louis; three daughters, Mary Ann Bloom of Waterloo, Ind., Dorothy Kashman and Margaret Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Walter Schroeder Jr. of Aurora, Ill.; a sister, Pat McClard of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
