CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Mary Patricia Kimble of Chicago will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church. The Rev. Debbie Thornton will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m to service time.

Sparks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kimble, 44, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 30, 1995, at her home.

She was born May 26, 1951, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Willie and Willie Pearl Brown. She married Vernon Kimble.

Kimble was a 1969 graduate of Charleston High School, and received a degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978. She had worked seven years at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Tracy Emanuel and Kimberly Kimble of Chicago, Tonya Kimble of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters, Brenda Ross of Chicago, Florence Dixon of Charleston; two brothers, Bruce and Jeffery Brown of Charleston, and a grandson.
