Mary Fern Ozment, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1915, at Egypt Mills, Mo., daughter of Kern and Ofa Louise Windeknecht Cook. She married Homer Ozment, who died in 1976.
Ozment had worked at International Shoe Co. and at Marquette Hotel.
Survivors include a son, Leslie Ozment of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Dorothy Dietiker and Juanita Martin of Cape Girardeau, Shirley Bridges of Indiana; three stepdaughters, Wanda Norris of Cape Girardeau, Alice Kelley of Jackson, Mo., Joyce Williams of Independence, Mo.; a brother, Paul Cook of Cape Girardeau; and 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
