Mary Emily Hope Moore, 72, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at her home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Oliver and Bernice Mosley Hope. She and Harold B. Moore were married Oct. 6, 1973, at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
Mary graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1961 and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a secretary for AmerunUE for 40 years, retiring in 2003.
Survivors include her husband, Harold B. Moore of Cape Girardeau; daughter Bobbie J. Gray of Scott City; son Rick B. (JoeAnn) Moore of Dalhart, Texas; brother Daniel Howard Hope of Dallas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Barbara Hope Kem and Margaret Hope Shrum.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Kim Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park.
