MARY MARGUERITE HORTON

Mary Marguerite Horton, 76, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died at her home in Osprey, Fla. Thursday, Jan. 21, 1993, in Osprey , Fla.

She was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Fredericktown, daughter of the Rev. E. C. Ellis and Mary Gregory Ellis.

She married Frank Horton on Feb. 26, 1949, in Cape Girardeau. He survives.

Other survivors included include a son, Wayne Horton, of Houston, Tex.; a sister, Joan Cox of Los Alamos, N.M.,; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brother and two sisters.

She was a member of Centenary Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Hortons moved to Osprey, Fla. 12 years ago.

She and her husband operated Horton Sales in Cape Girardeau several years.

Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
