Mary Louise Enderle Heisserer, 86, of Oran, Mo., passed away Friday, March 21, 2014.

She was born May 12, 1927, in Chaffee, Mo., the daughter of the late Paul J. and Coletta Bles Enderle of Kelso, Mo.

She and Ralph S. Heisserer of Oran were married May 8, 1948, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.

Mary Lou was in the 1945 graduating class of St. Mary High School in Cape Girardeau. She was a homemaker, loving mother and devoted wife.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ralph; son, Karl, and his wife Barbara Curtis Heisserer of Indianapolis; son, Melvin, and his wife Shirley Hanstein Heisserer of Shiloh, Ill.; and daughter, Dolores Heisserer Andersen of Oran. She is also survived by grandsons Joseph (Jenny), Eric (Bobbi), Michael (Ashley) and James Heisserer of Indianapolis, Christopher, Brian and Lucas Heisserer of Shiloh, and Shane Anderson of Oran; granddaughter Louise Andersen (David Harris) of Helena, Mont.; great-grandsons Curtis Ray, Cole, Nolan and Oliver Heisserer of Indianapolis; great-granddaughters Elizabeth, Ryleigh, Lillian and Olivia Heisserer of Indianapolis, Allie Louise and Krista Harris of Helena; sisters Georgianna (Mark) Ressel of Kelso and Cecilia Arnold of Jonesboro, Ill.; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by grandsons Robert and Curtis Lee Heisserer; her son-in-law, Robert Anderson; her brother, Paul J.; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Enderle.

Mary Lou felt very blessed to have her husband, family and friends for so many years. She loved her life on the farm and enjoyed gardening and canning everything from tomato juice to pecans. She also had a special place in her heart for her pet kittens.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today, with prayers at 7 p.m., at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran.

Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery on the hill.
