BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- Mary Lou Hitchcock, 58, of Belleville, formerly of Scott City, died Friday, Jan. 27, 1995, at Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1936, at Scott City, the daughter of Lucille Brant Lance, who survives at Scott City, and the late William R. Lance.
Besides her mother, survivors include three daughters, Amy Hitchcock of Paris, France, Stacy McIlwain of Belleville and Candace Sinn of Fenton, Mo.; one brother, Charles Lance of Scott City; a sister, Barbara Rhymer of Scott City; and two grandchildren.
One brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hope United Church of Christ in Belleville.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Darrell Coons officiating.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City announced the arrangements.
