CHARLESTON -- Mary Lou Chambers, 86, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born March 20, 1905, in McCroy, Ark., daughter of Marion F. and Emma Van Landingham Glenn.
She lived in Mississippi County since 1924. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston, and Daughters of Isabella.
On April 24, 1926, she married Edward F. Chambers, who preceded her in death March 22, 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Lee Roy Chambers of Chaffee, Jack Chambers of Bartlett, Tenn., Ronnie Chambers of Charleston; a daughter, Freida Moxley of Charleston; a sister, Annie Boggs of McCroy; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where a prayer service will be held at 8.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Church. The Rev. Raymond Kunkel will officiate, with burial in Texas Bend Cemetery near Charleston.
