BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- Mary Lou Anthony, 89, of Brownwood passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2016, at her home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1926, the daughter of John and Meryl Caldwell Musgraves. Mary Lou and Virgil "Shanks" Anthony were united in marriage in 1968 in Advance, Missouri, and he preceded her in death.
Mary Lou was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the Advance Eagles.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Lou Anthony of Auburn, Washington; a special friend who was like a son to her, Lee Yancer of Brownwood; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Bonnie June.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
