JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary Lou Lingle, 66, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1933, in Makanda, daughter of Charlie and Lena Smith Cox. She and Leslie Lingle were married Dec. 31, 1965, in Anna. Lingle was a member of Jonesboro Methodist Church...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary Lou Lingle, 66, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at her home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1933, in Makanda, daughter of Charlie and Lena Smith Cox. She and Leslie Lingle were married Dec. 31, 1965, in Anna.

Lingle was a member of Jonesboro Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Bernard Davis of Jonesboro; a daughter, Lou Ann Roquemore of Lawton, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Gwen Lehr of Cobden; a stepson, Randy Lingle of Sparta; a brother, Charlie Cox; two sisters, Norma Dummer of Kankakee, Charolette Graham of Jonesboro; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
