MARY L. WENGERT

PERRYVILLE -- Mary Leona Wengert, 93, of Perryville, died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1902, at Ozora, daughter of Charles William and Elizabeth Hurst Siebert. She married Edward A. Wengert Sr., who died Aug. 26, 1973.

Wengert was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Edward and James Wengert of St. Marys, Charles Wengert of Perryville; five daughters, Novona Mattingly of St. Marys, Mary Renaud, Betty Brewer and Joyce Regelsperger of Perryville, Shirley Wilson of Ste. Genevieve; 34 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild, and seven great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
