SIKESTON -- Mary Lou Staggs, 73, of Sikeston, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 30, 1919, in Collinwood, Tenn., daughter of Tom Henry and Jimmie Della White Fraley. She and Wilson R. Staggs were married July 18, 1936, in Wayne County, Tenn. He died June 16, 1976.
Staggs was a nurse's aide 17 years at Missouri Delta Medical Center, and member of Sikeston Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Tommy, J.W., Willie and Danny Staggs, all of Sikeston; a daughter, Marilyn Graham of Sikeston; two brothers, James Fraley of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Jerry Fraley of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Margaret Nelson of Nashville, Magdeline Roberts of Bloomfield; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Cecil Adams will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
