BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- Mary Willa Kynion, 91, of Brownwood passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 9, 1924, at Brownwood, the daughter of Quincy and Pearl Davis Ashcraft. Mary and Linus Kynion were united in marriage April 1, 1942, at Jackson, and he preceded her in death April 28, 1995...

BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- Mary Willa Kynion, 91, of Brownwood passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 9, 1924, at Brownwood, the daughter of Quincy and Pearl Davis Ashcraft. Mary and Linus Kynion were united in marriage April 1, 1942, at Jackson, and he preceded her in death April 28, 1995.

Mary had been a hard-working homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Kynion of Brownwood and Gary (Rita) Kynion of Advance, Missouri; a daughter, Barbara (Ron) Noble of Advance; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
