PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary L. Kutz, 85, of Perryville died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Independence Care Center.
She was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Biehle, Mo., daughter of Rudolph and Josephine Hotop Pingel. She and Jesse Kutz were married April 22, 1946, in Biehle. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2007.
Kutz was an activity director at American Care Center. She was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church at Biehle and a member of St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include three sons, Bob (Patti) Kutz, and Tom (Robin) Kutz of Perryville, Dan (Vickie) Kutz of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Diana (Frank) Tripp of Jackson; five sisters, Anita Ernst of Biehle, Dorothy Ponder of Bloomsdale, Mo., Elsie Tucker of St. Louis, Viola Amschler of Cape Girardeau, Doris Balsmann of Old Appleton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 6 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maurus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Tony Datillo officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
