JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for Mary L. King will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. The Rev. John Prather will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
King, 80, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Anna, Ill., daughter of Henry and Minnie Jackson McLane Sr. She and William Edward King were married Aug. 14, 1952, in Jonesboro. He died May 20, 1985.
King lived in Southern Illinois most of her life.
Survivors include three daughters, Sydney Ruckrigel and Cynthia Hoffer of Petal, Miss., Lisa Bess of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, Henry McLane Jr. of Ware, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
