PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Jane Kiefer, 73, of Perryville died Monday, May 17, 2004, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Perry County, daughter of James and Florence Riehl Hart. She and Wilbert A. Kiefer were married Feb. 7, 1948, at Perryville. He died July 17, 1985.
Kiefer had worked in the dietary department at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Comte of Perryville, Earline Hart of Topeka, Kan.; five sons, Darius Kiefer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Russell, Timothy and Raymond Andrew Kiefer of Perryville, Wendell Kiefer of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
