BELL CITY, Mo. -- Mary Ruth Kelso, 89, of Bell City died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Mo.
She was born May 8, 1918, in Bell City, daughter of Clarence Lawson and Ola Mae Mitchell Proffer. She and Harvey E. Kelso were married April 1, 1935, at Bloomfield. He died June 10, 2006.
Kelso retired from Inland Shoe Factory in Advance, Mo. She was a member of Bell City OES and Bell City General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Clarence Kelso of Advance; a daughter, Arbutus "Booty" Sansagraw of Sikeston, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
