MARY J. DUVALL

PERRYVILLE -- Mary J. DuVall, 97, of Perryville, died Sunday, July 24, 1994, at the Aspen Forest Nursing Center in Perryville.

She was born Jan. 30, 1897, in Perry County, daughter of Frederick and Mary Stortz.

She married Henry DuVall, May 8, 1923, at Silver Lake. He died in May 1953.

DuVall was a member of the Ladies Sodality of the St. Rose of Lima Church in Silver Lake.

Survivors include a son, Henry DuVall of Cahokia, Ill.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Silver Lake, with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
