Mary Louise Howard, 74, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Nov. 8, 1935, in LaForge, Mo., to Lonnie and Elzora Callis Howard. She and Billie Howard were married Oct. 7, 1967, in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2003...

Mary Louise Howard, 74, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 8, 1935, in LaForge, Mo., to Lonnie and Elzora Callis Howard. She and Billie Howard were married Oct. 7, 1967, in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2003.

Howard was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include daughters Kim Brown (Eric Roots) of Cape Girardeau, Michelle (Brian) Steimle of Advance, Mo., Shirley (Louie) Luczak of Wentzville, Mo., Jane (Bob) Hance of Belle, Mo., Marilyn (Keith) Koeppel of Columbia, Mo.; a son, Mike Meyer of Cape Girardeau; brothers Lonnie Howard of Hazelwood, Mo., Gerald Howard of Sikeston, Mo.; and a sister, Helen Zykan of St. Charles.

Also eight grandchildren, Tasha (Cody) Roberts, Alisha Hendrix, Shantel Hendrix, Brad Drew, Shannon Drew, Steven Meyer, Jason Waddle, Becca Donahue; a special great-grandchild, Cohen Lee Roberts, 11 great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and special friend Wilford Clifton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, a brother, and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Mr. Hodge of Delta Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Advance.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family of Mary Howard.
