MARY HINSHAW

PERRYVILLE -- Mary R. Hinshaw, 77, of Perryville died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 31, 1920, at Winchester, Ind., the daughter of Elbried and Hazel Overander Engel.

She married Paul Hinshaw on Oct. 7, 1939.

She had been a secretary at BBL in Biehle. She was a member of the Friends Church in Lynn, Ind.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Max Hinshaw of Olympia, Wash; a daughter, Shirley Smith of Perryville; two sisters, Bertha Cox of Georgia and Martha DeVaney of Florida; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral service will be Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn, Ind., with burial at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, Ind.
