CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Mary F. Hall, 94, of Carbondale, formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Helia Healthcare of Carbondale.
She was born Jan. 6, 1913, in Galatia, Ill., daughter of Joseph Frank and Bertie Capel Lewis. She and Joseph L. Hall were married Oct. 23, 1931. He died Feb. 28, 1990.
Hall worked at Lincoln State School many years. She was a member of Lakeland Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Crabb of Carbondale; a sister, Nellie Hall of Anna, Ill.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in North America Cemetery in Saline County.
