CAIRO, Ill. -- Mary E. Grant, 81, of Cairo died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.She was born March 14, 1918, in Cairo, daughter of Lawrence and Elsie O'Loughlin Grant.Grant had been a bookkeeper at Nabisco and at Rex Liquor. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.Survivors include cousins.Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Church. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge.Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday.
